New York Boating Education Requirements

All New York Personal Watercraft Operators must complete a proctored Safe Boating Course in order to operate a PWC.

All Boat and PWC operators between the age of 10 and 18 must complete a Safe Boating Class.

SEA’s One Day Safe Boating Course will satisfy the State requirements to obtain the New York Safe Boating Certificate and operate both a boat or a PWC.

S.E.A. classroom courses are approved by the National Association of Safe Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and Recognized by the United States Coast Guard. S.E.A. is a member of the National Safe Boating Council.
