Course Information - One Day Safe Boating and PWC Classroom

S.E.A.’s One Day Course is designed to provide safe boating information and regulations in a clear , practical, and interesting format. The course material is presented by qualified instructors that use teaching techniques and visual aids to enhance the learning experience and keep the course fun and interesting for children as well as adults.

General Course Information

  • Approved by State and NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) and Recognized by the United States Coast Guard.
  • Satisfy requirements for state required Safe Boating Certificate.
  • State Certificate allows operation of both a Boat or PWC (Jetski type vessel)
  • Scheduled 9am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Course Schedule
  • Private Classes in your Home or Office available.
  • Scheduled classes are held in comfortable professional conference rooms.
Course Fees: $100 Adults
$80 Under 18 years old
$50 (Senior Citizen 65 or older)

Connecticut State Law
All boat operators must obtain a Safe Boating Certificate. All PWC operators must obtain a Certificate of Personal Watercraft. Completion of SEA course will qualify student to obtain required certificate.

New York State Law
All PWC operators must obtain a Safe Boating Certificate. All Boat and PWC operators between the ages of 10 and 18 must obtain a Safe Boating Certificate.
Completion of SEA course will qualify student to obtain required certificate.

New Jersey State Law
All PWC operators must obtain a Safe Boating Certificate.
Boaters born in 1949 or after 1949 must Obtain a safe Boating Certificate by June 1, 2008. All Boaters must obtain a Safe Boating Certificate by June 1 2009.
Completion of SEA course will qualify student to obtain required certificate.
